Trailmapping

This ride, largely improvised, is a loop from the small trailhead parking area on Route 47, into the woods and up the slope, back down to Chimura Road, through the woods to Bay Road, and then on-road back to the cars.

The downhill from the ridge to Chmura Road was a BLAST and we’d happily do it again.

There are lots more trails at the end of Chmura to explore. We took a flat one that popped us out by the Hampshire College Physical Plant offices on Bay Road, but there are many steeper options too.
